 Whether you are already a pro or just starting to get involved in politics, we have a place for you. 
  • Engage in policy and issue advocacy with our local elected officials
  • Endorse candidates in your assembly, senate, and congressional districts
  • Support campaigns that align with our goals (e.g., elect more women and other candidates who represent our interests, organize and fund-raise for competitive and flippable districts)
  • ​ Network, encourage civic engagement, and have fun (happy hours, speakers, movie nights, etc. )
Our membership period is January 1- December 31.
You may join at any time throughout the calendar year.

ABOUT US
The Heart of L.A. Democratic Club was formed in recognition of the growing awareness within the Democratic Party that women should be fully and equally represented both in the political community and in local, state, and national politics. Heart of L.A. Democratic Club is open to all Democrats who subscribe to our goals and purposes regardless of their gender identity..  Heart of L.A. We are the only Los Angeles County-wide Democratic Club whose primary purpose is dedicated to actively promoting the full and equal representation of women in the local, stage, and national politics through civic engagement, issue and policy advocacy, candidate endorsements, and campaign support.

As a Democratic Club officially chartered with the Los Angeles County Democratic Party, we have a direct pipeline to our current and future elected officials.  We were founded in 2017, and we are already seeing the positive effect that our involvement has on changing the conversation and the political landscape.
